Meet Charles Emanuel!
Hometown: St. Kitts & Nevis, WI
New to the Rochester, this island boy brings a new flare to the Upstate New York music scene that can’t be denied.
Having already participated in numerous events such as Roc The Park and the Corn Hill Festival; opening and performing alongside artists such as Carlton Wilcox Live and Danielle Ponder and the Tomorrow People; and being 2016’s ROC Awards Best New Artist, and also being on the verge of releasing his debut album The Healing Process, Charles Emanuel has moved to Rochester to further his music career and is already making his name known.
Meet Lost Elysium!
Hometown: Buffalo, NY

What do a broken compass, an ad on Craigslist, and near death experiences have in common? They all molded the members of WNY’s symphonic hard rock band Lost Elysium. With melodic driving beats infused with punk, metal and R&B flavors, Lost Elysium creates a world where the listener is invited to the safety of abnormality. Co founders Ashley Elle (vox) and Brian Muller (guitar) established the band late 2013. Ricky Stage (drums) and Devin Kyle (bass) joined completing the circle, and the four collaborated to release their first EP, Volume 1: Destiny’s Bullet. Since then they’ve shared the stage with Lacuna Coil, Saliva and Theory of a Deadman.
Meet Alan Simon!
Genre: Indian Classical/World
Alan Simon has been playing the Tabla for over a decade. He has been under the tutelage of Ustad Bashir Khan, an exponent of the Punjab Gharana.
Alan graduated from the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in Karachi.
After graduating he delved into Percussions from different regions: Afro-Cuban rhythms and the drumset. Alan transposed a lot of the tabla rhythms and wrote interlocking parallel rhythms for the instruments he played.
He formed his world music project TAAL KARISMA where he collaborates with international musicians.
With his diverse knowledge on percussion, he has been globe-trotting and has managed to perform in Pakistan, India, Thailand and the US, and actively participating to share the culture of the Tabla in Rochester- where he currently lives in the US.
Alan has the honor of performing for the President of Pakistan Pervaiz Musharaf; at the National School of Drama in New Delhi, India; and with Bollywood singer Ali Zafar at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, just to name a few of his performances.
He also featured on most of the music related shows for television in Pakistan, and has been named ‘The Pioneer of Body Percussions in Pakistan’.
Some of his world music got played on FM stations in the US, Luxembourg and Pakistan.
Meet Meg Williams!
Hometown: Rochester, NY
Genre: Soulful Rock, Blues, Jazz-Pop
Meg Williams is a guitarist, songwriter, and singer currently based out of Rochester, NY.
Meg plays frequently as a solo act, duos with vocalist/guitarist Sara Rogers and percussionist Nick Lord, and with her full band, Meg Williams Band (MWB). Meg has been busy performing all around the Greater Rochester area in popular venues and festivals, including; the Park Ave Festival, Fairport Canal Days, and main stage at the Rochester Fringe Festival. In additional to playing with the full band, Meg has been featured at many singer-songwriter showcases, as both a performer and a judge. She has performed at several respected Writer’s Nights in Nashville, TN. Meg’s debut, full length album, ‘Troubles to the Wind,” was released in May 2014.
